Kyle Field

Since 1929 the home to the Fightin' Texas Aggies, Kyle Field is considered by many to rank among the nation's premiere football facililities - and recent and ongoing work promises to make it only better. The completion in 1999 of the nation's most extensive stadium renovation project brought its capacity to 80,650, including luxury seating in the north end zone's Bernard C. Richardson Zone at Kyle Field. "The Zone" added three new decks of seating, with luxury boxes and first-class dining and party facilities. The stadium is named for Edwin Jackson Kyle, former dean of agriculture and president of the athletic council, and played host to Texas' largest crowd ever for a football game: 86,128 for the Aggies' 20-16 victory over rival Texas on Nov. 26, 1999.
