Saturdays in the fall mean one thing in Aggieland - Aggie football. With a defense simply known as the “Wrecking Crew,” the Texas Aggies own one of the top home winning percentages in the nation. Winners of 19 conference titles and the 1939 National Championship, the Aggies are among the best in the nation at defending their home turf. On November 26, 1999, a crowd of 86,128 - Texas’ largest-ever football crowd - witnessed a come-from-behind Aggie victory over archrival Texas, 20-16.
